The Elegant Event is a recognition and awards banquet to honor five local women for their work in the community. During the event, the recipients of the Topeka Soroptimist's Women Helping Women and Women of Distinction awards will be announced. Nominees for the awards are: Marilyn Page, Sherry Baer, Doria Watson, Tawny Stottlemire and Rep. Ann Mah.
