Big Brothers Big Sisters of Topeka has a full-time position for a Recruitment Coordinator.
The Recruitment Coordinator is a spokesperson and recruiter for Big Brothers Big Sisters with a focus on male candidates. This position is responsible for identifying men (and women) and recruiting them to become long-term volunteers. This position requires a flexible schedule that may require time outside of normal business hours to reach faith communities and other volunteer constituencies. A successful candidate will have a BA/BS degree, experience in sales and public relations, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with close top-level volunteer leadership, be self-motivated and goal oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience as a mentor (Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple or Big Family), is preferred. EOE.
