Programming bonuses and awards were handed out to some of the programming staff Cumulus Broadcast Center in downtown Topeka based on the latest ratings performance. The coveted target demographic for advertisers is adults between the ages of 25 and 54. KMAJ-FM Majic 107.7 is ranked in the top spot followed closely by KDVV-FM V100 in second place with KWIC-FM Eagle 99.3 ranked third.
Mike Manns and John Lee Hooker, the morning show team on KMAJ-FM Majic 107.7 were recognized for being the top ranked morning show. Forrest Smithkors, program director for KDVV-FM V100 received two awards, one for his work as the afternoon announcer on V100 and a second as the program director of the station. Les Glenn, program director of KWIC-FM Eagle 99.3 took third place honors as the program director for the radio station.
The adult demographic of consumers between the ages of 25 and 54 years of age is the marketing demographic upon which the largest percentage of national advertising decisions are based.
Cumulus Senior Vice President and Market Manager Spike Santee was pleased with the results. "It's nice to be able to give some folks some extra money right now. They've been working hard to produce a quality product for our listeners and advertisers".
