Celebrate the birthday of a famous artist at the Mulvane Art Museum by creating your own version of their work, using the technique and style of the featured artist. The activity is open to all ages.
The birthday celebrations will be on dates close to the birth anniversaries of the selected artists.
Dates, times and featured artists are:
- Sept. 12 (10-11 a.m.), Romare Bearden;
- Oct. 24 (1-2 p.m.), Pablo Picasso;
- Nov. 14 (1-2 p.m.), John Steuart Curry
- Dec. 5 (1-2 p.m.), Walt Disney.
Cost is $10 for members, $12 for non-members for each session and materials are included. Children under 6 must be accompanied by adult. Pre-registration is required.

The Mulvane Art Museum is located on the Washburn University camps at 17th and Jewell Ave. Admission is free.
